Gretchen Carr is the creator and producer of the Traversecityist. Born in Traverse City, Carr was raised on the Old Mission Peninsula and the woodlands of Benzie County. These early environs inspired her lifelong interest in the relationship between people and places. Her academic background lies in the performing arts and history.
