Host, creator, and producer Gretchen Carr mixes interviews, history, folklore and social observations to bring you stories from the people creating the culture in and around Traverse City, Michigan. Born in Traverse City, Carr was raised on the Old Mission Peninsula and in the woodlands of Benzie County. These early environs inspired her lifelong interest in the relationship between people and places. Her academic background lies in the performing arts and history.
